- Anonymous by design. No account, name, email, or phone is required. An anonymous device ID is stored in your browser.
- What we process: messages (for delivery and safety moderation), an IP-derived approximate region (for legal compliance and abuse prevention), and a device/connection fingerprint (to enforce bans). Lawful bases: legitimate interest (safety) and legal obligation.
- Voice: calls are peer-to-peer; our servers do not receive or store your call audio.
- Safety preservation: if content is flagged as illegal (e.g. child sexual abuse material), we are legally required to preserve the relevant evidence (up to 1 year) and report it to the NCMEC CyberTipline / law enforcement. This overrides normal deletion.
- Retention: ordinary chat is ephemeral and not retained beyond delivery, except preserved safety evidence.

We never sell personal data. Ads, if shown, appear only on content pages — never inside chats.
