You press next, the pairing is gone, and a new stranger loads. Random skip is that loop: one person drawn at random, and one tap that ends them. The phrase is also a brand. RandomSkip.com holds the top result for it and describes itself as a ChatRoulette alternative built on webcam chat. This page separates the mechanic from the site, and says what each one asks of you.
Two different things carry this name, and the results for it mix them freely. One is the mechanic: skip, and the queue hands you somebody else. The other is a domain that took the mechanic for a brand. Our reading of the ranked results for the phrase on 6 September 2026 found both, plus a third case that is neither. Below is what that site puts in front of the loop, and what a separate write-up says those doors cost. After that comes what a random skip looks like here, with no camera anywhere in it.
The box above is the whole entry: a nickname, then a stranger. Nothing installs, no account is created, and no lens turns on at any point. Over-18s only.
RandomSkip.com is a webcam roulette. Its own page calls the site a ChatRoulette similar site and a free random webcam chat room, and the description under it in search repeats that framing. The loop it sets out is the familiar one. Agree to the terms, press start, and get paired with the first available person who did the same. Either of you may then press next. Pressing next ends the session and draws another stranger. The site puts a text option beside the video, which it claims rivals lack, and it runs a separate social network that visitors are urged to register for.
| Door on RandomSkip.com | What it opens | What it asks for |
|---|---|---|
| Front page | Random webcam pairing | Terms agreed, then a live camera |
| Text Chat | The same loop, typed | Nothing further, per the page |
| Group Chat | Chat rooms | Reported closed until further notice |
| Gay Chat | An orientation room | A sign-up, reported |
| Talk to Girls | A feed of live video | A sign-up, then payment for gendered calls, reported |
| Its social network | Profiles and a friend list | Registration, which the page urges |
| Here, one door | A text or voice pair | A nickname, and being over 18 |
Door names read from that site's own page on 7 September 2026. Rows marked reported come from a separate write-up, which also describes two of those doors as carrying sexually suggestive material. They are not claims the site makes about itself.
The loop is identical on both sides. What differs is the queue you join to reach it, and what that queue takes from you on the way in.
Read the top row first. Agreeing to terms and pressing start cost nothing and reveal nothing. The camera step is neither of those. It hands a live picture of your face and your room to somebody you have not met, a second before you learn whether they are worth a sentence. That charge falls on every random skip rather than once, because each next resets it. The bottom row runs the same sequence with that step removed, so the only thing crossing to the stranger is what you chose to type or say.
This is where the two diverge most, and the camera is not the reason. A write-up of RandomSkip.com quotes its terms as reserving a wide right over anything sent through the platform. The items it lists are text, video streams, images, audio, metadata and connection information. The verbs it reserves are monitor, review, record, intercept, analyse, store and retain. That is the site's own reservation, quoted at one remove. We have not put the clause against the terms page ourselves. Read it as a pointer worth following, not as a finding, and follow it before you decide anything.
No camera runs at any stage. No video stream and no image exist to keep, so half of that list cannot apply here. What remains is text or audio between two people, and our privacy notice puts named periods against it instead of adjectives. Read that notice before you type anything you would mind being held. Our house rules answer the other half of the question. That half is what happens to somebody who behaves badly inside a queue where nobody carries a profile and nobody can be traced afterwards.
Nothing migrates from another site, because nothing on either side of the move is an account.
Comparing more than one name in these results? Our read on MeetSkip handles the other brand ranking for this phrase, and how far anonymity really goes is worth reading before you type into any of them.
We looked at seven openers written out word for word separately, and at picking a language before you start typing as well.
The skip loop and the camera question get their own pages: the skip-and-next loop without a webcam, and free text and voice random chat.

Two pages carry the claims above: the RandomSkip.com front page for its door list, its ChatRoulette framing and its account of the next button, and a third-party write-up of that site for the sign-up and payment claims and for the quoted retention clause.
